One thing is for sure. We live in a time when culture is “all about me.” What are the dangers of this mindset? Where will this type of pride ultimately lead us? When we are in this type of culture it can be challenging to walk humbly with God, but it is vital for our spiritual growth. But what does “Walk Humbly” really mean? How do we do it? What is God trying to accomplish with us when we do?

 

 

 

Friday, Jan 22 was National Sanctity of Human Life Day. As Christians, we are supposed to celebrate life every day. Deb goes through man’s creation, to Cain’s murdering Abel showing how sin has brought our value for life down. But the love of Jesus has shown us how truly precious the gift of life is and His sacrifice brings a more abundant life for us. Along with that, we are to share that love with all humanity.

Father, we want to please you and we know that starts with swallowing our pride. With the help of Your Spirit within us, give us the grace of clarity to the humble. Give us the grace of strength to the poor in spirit. Pour out your life into our life, so that we can live the life that we’re supposed to live that honors you. In Jesus Name we pray, Amen.
