Music by Chris Tomlin, Ed Cash, Jonas Myrin, Matt Armstrong, and Matt Redman
VERSE
There’s a place, where mercy reigns and never dies There’s a place, where streams of grace flow deep and wide All the love, I’ve ever found, comes like a flood, comes flowing down
CHORUS
At the cross, at the cross, I surrender my life I’m in awe of you; I’m in awe of you Where your love ran red, and my sins washed white I owe all to you, I owe all to you…Jesus

There’s a place, where sin and shame are powerless Where my heart has peace with God, and forgiveness All the love, I’ve ever found, comes like a flood, comes flowing down

Here my hope is found, here on holy ground
Here I bow down, here I bow down
Here arms open wide, here you saved my life
Here I bow down, here I bow

The Cross has been a symbol for Christianity but we should see the power of the empty tomb and His resurrection that much more!

“Death Arrested”
Music by Adam Kersh, Brandon Coker, Heath Balltzglier, and Paul Taylor
VERSE
Alone in my sorrow and dead in my sin
Lost without hope and no place to begin
Your love made a way to let mercy come in
When death was arrested and my life began
VERSE 2
Ash was redeemed, only beauty remains
(and) My orphan heart was given a name
My mourning grew quiet, my feet rose to dance
When death was arrested and my life began
CHORUS
Oh Your grace so free washes over me
You have made me new, now life begins with You
VERSE 3
Released from my chains, I’m a prisoner no more
My shame was a ransom He faithfully bore
He canceled my debt and He called me His…friend
When death was arrested and my life began
VERSE 4
Our Savior displayed on a criminal’s cross
And Darkness rejoiced as though Heaven had lost
But then Jesus arose with our freedom in hand
That’s when death was arrested and my life began

“Glorious Day”
Music by Jason Ingram, Jonathan Smith, Kristian Stanfill, and Sean Curran
VERSE
I was buried beneath my shame
Who could carry that kind of weight?
It was my tomb ‘til I met You
VERSE 2
I was breathing but not alive
All my failures I tried to hide
It was my tomb ‘til I met You
CHORUS
You called my name and I ran out of that grave
Out of the darkness into Your glorious day
VERSE 3
Now Your mercy has saved my soul
Now Your freedom is all that I know
The old made new, Jesus, when I met You
BRIDGE
I needed rescue, my sin was heavy
But chains break at the weight of Your glory
I needed shelter, I was an orphan
Now You call me a citizen of Heaven
When I was broken, You were my healing
Now Your love is the air that I’m breathing
I have a future My eyes are open,
’cause when You called my name,
I ran out of that grave

“Because He Lives”
Music by Gloria Gaither and William J. Gaither
VERSE
God sent His son, they called Him Jesus
He came to love, heal and forgive
He lived and died to buy my pardon
An empty grave is there to prove My Saviour lives
CHORUS
Because He lives, I can face tomorrow
Because He lives, all fear is gone
Because I know He holds the future
And life is worth the living just Because He lives
VERSE 2
And then one day, I’ll cross that river
I’ll fight life’s final war with pain
And then as death, gives way to vict’ry
I’ll see the lights of glory and I’ll know He lives
PRAYER
Father we’re grateful for the hope of the resurrection. Not just the hope of Jesus but the hope of Jesus making a difference in our life. Giving us that fresh start, that new life, because we’ve made such a mess of our old life. We need your strength, we need your guidance, we desperately need your peace of heart and peace of mind that comes from the presence of your Spirit. Within my prayer God, is that you would grant that spirit, grant that desire for you to live again in the hearts of each and every one who watches this message today. Thank you for the hope that’s ours, knowing that we can always remember and never forget that we can count on you to keep your promises. In Jesus name we give You praise, Amen.
