“Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)”
Music by Matt Crocker, Joel Houston, and Salomon Ligthelm

VERSE
You call me out upon the waters.
The great unknown where feet may fail
And there I find You in the mystery.
In oceans deep, my faith will stand

CHORUS
And I will call upon Your name,
And keep my eyes above the waves
When oceans rise, my soul will rest in your embrace,
for I am Yours and You are mine

VERSE 2
Your grace abounds in deepest waters.
Your sovereign hand will be my guide
Where feet may fail and fear surrounds me.
You’ve never failed and you won’t start now

BRIDGE
Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders
Let me walk upon the waters, wherever You would call me
Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander
And my faith will be made stronger in the presence of my Savior.
COMMUNION MEDITATION

Presented by Sandy Liedtke

“Without Grumbling and Complaining”
Let’s take time to examine ourselves and do things without grumbling and complaining.

MESSAGE

HOW MUCH LONGER GOD?

See the similarities in our faith walk with Habakkuk when we ask, “How Much Longer do I have to wait for God to do what I think He should do?”

Understanding that: 1. God’s WILL can be hard to handle 2. God’s TIMING can be hard to handle. 3. God’s JUDGEMENT can be hard to handle.

“One Thing Remains”
Music by Christa Black, Brian Johnson, and Jeremy Riddle

VERSE
Higher than the mountains that I face
Stronger than the power of the grave
Constant in the trial and the change
One thing remains

CHORUS
Your love never fails
It never gives up
Never runs out on me
Your Love

PRE-CHORUS
On and on and on and on it goes
It overwhelms and satisfies my soul

And I never ever have to be afraid
One thing remains
One thing remains

BRIDGE
In death in life I’m confident and
Cover’d by the power of Your great love
My debt is paid there’s nothing that
Can separate my heart from Your great love

PRAYER

Father were grateful for the opportunity to learn again that we are not the only ones who question whether or not we understand your will, or whether we’re doing it right, or whether we can trust you or not. Thank you for the example of Habakkuk. We look forward to a few more lessons from him as we try to figure out how to manage our faith crisis and come out in a way that allows us to be stronger and more spiritually mature than ever before. Thank you for the hope that we have because of Jesus.
It’s in him that we pray, Amen.

Foundation Kids

2 CORINTHIANS 4:8-10

Parents and kids, get your bibles and read 2 Corinthians chapter 4, verses 8-10 together. Hear Paul’s encouragement to the church in Corinth during rough times.

When you are done reading, discuss these three questions:
1. Are you feeling some of the same emotions that the church at Corinth was experiencing during their rough times?
2. What do these verses say about our relationship with Jesus during these rough times?
3. What is one way that we can apply what we read to our life and our families?
