It can be tough to realize that we can count on God when every day we’re reminded that the world is full of people who will take advantage of us. We go further into the story of Jacob and look at the deception that he faced. God help us, that we don’t become so cynical and jaded that we lose our ability and willingness to trust anyone.

Father hear our heart and know our brokenness when we don’t live in ways that honor You. Help us to live lives that are true and honest.
