“Joy to the Word (Unspeakable Joy)”
Music by Ed Cash, Matt Gilder, and Chris Tomlin
Joy to the world, the Lord is come Let earth receive her king Let every heart prepare Him room
And Heaven and nature sing And Heaven and nature sing And Heaven, and Heaven and nature sing
Joy to the world, the Savior reigns That all their songs employ While fields and floods, rocks, hills and plains
Repeat the sounding joy Repeat the sounding joy Repeat, repeat the sounding joy
Joy, unspeakable joy An overflowing well No tongue can tell Joy, unspeakable joy Rises in my soul, never let’s me go
He rules the world with truth and grace And makes the nations prove The glories of His righteousness
And wonders of His love And wonders of His love And wonders, wonders of His love
Joy, unspeakable joy And overflowing well No tongue can tell Joy, unspeakable joy Rises in my soul, never let’s me go
MESSAGE
Christmas Time Stories of the Future
This year, more than ever, we all need to be reminded of the story of Christmas. In this “Christmas Carol” message, “Christmas-Time Stories of the Future” we take a good look at the future to ask the same question that Ebenezer Scrooge asked, “Is my future fixed, or can it be fixed?” In other words, is there any hope for me??
COMMUNION MEDITATION
Presented by Chris Orecchio
From Christmas to the Cross
How often are we not willing to do the dirty work to help others to bring them to Jesus? Why are we afraid of getting our hands dirty? Shouldn’t we do what Jesus did for us? He was willing to get his hands dirty in order to restore our relationship with the Father. That’s how much He loves us that much. From Christmas to the Cross, Jesus came down and did the dirty work to show us our worth.

“Some Children See Him”
Music by by Wihla Hutson & Alfred S. Burt
ome children see Him lily white, the baby Jesus born this night. Some children see Him lily white, with tresses soft and fair. Some children see Him bronzed and brown, The Lord of heav’n to earth come down. Some children see Him bronzed and brown, with dark and heavy hair.
Some children see Him almond-eyed, this Savior whom we kneel beside. some children see Him almond-eyed, with skin of yellow hue. Some children see Him dark as they, sweet Mary’s Son to whom we pray. Some children see him dark as they, and, ah! they love Him, too!
The children in each different place will see the baby Jesus’ face like theirs, but bright with heavenly grace, and filled with holy light. O lay aside each earthly thing and with thy heart as offering, come worship now the infant King. ‘Tis love that’s born tonight!
PRAYER
Prayer
Father, just as Mary Submitted herself to you and your will for her life, so we too now offer ourselves to you as your servant for your will to be done in our life. That is not only our hope, but the hope of the world this Christmas. In Jesus Name, we give You thanks and offer this prayer. Amen
