With everything that has happened over the course of this past year it can be hard for us to focus on anything but what is bad in our lives. However, God wants us to focus on what is good. But what does that mean? What exactly is the “good” that we are to be focusing on? And how do we do it? We hope to answer these questions as we dive into Micah for today’s message, “Fix Your Focus on What is Good”

 

 

Mark addresses the world’s desire to fix themselves with the great amount of “self-help” books that are out there. While there may be good information in these books there is only one book that we need to go to for true “self-help”. This book creates a lasting change that will keep us through any trial that we face in life.

Father last year was a real punch in the mouth. Nothing went like we had planned. And as we begin this New Year grant us clarity on the things that matter most, to You, not just to us. Fix our focus on the things that are good. So that we don’t dwell on things that aren’t the way we want them to be. It’s been a tough year that’s past. May Your hand be on us, may it guide us, and may Your hand prosper us so that Your Name might be blessed. But we realize that will only happen when we live like You.
