VERSE
There’s a place,
where mercy reigns
and never dies
There’s a place,
where streams of grace
flow deep and wide
All the love, I’ve ever found,
comes like a flood, comes flowing down
CHORUS
At the cross, at the cross,
I surrender my life
I’m in awe of you;
I’m in awe of you
Where your love ran red,
and my sins washed white
I owe all to you,
I owe all to you…Jesus
VERSE 2
There’s a place,
where sin and shame
are powerless
Where my heart
has peace with God,
and forgiveness
All the love, I’ve ever found,
comes like a flood, comes flowing down
BRIDGE
Here my hope is found,
here on holy ground
Here I bow down,
here I bow down
Here arms open wide,
here you saved my life
Here I bow down,
here I bow
MESSAGE
How To Fix Your Focus
We continue to explore Micah in our “Fix our Focus” series and discuss justice. After the week that we’ve had the cries for just are far and by many. But what is justice? Are we seeking the right thing? How does God define justice? This week we look at 5 principles of justice as defined by God that will hopefully fix our focus in the midst of chaos.
COMMUNION MEDITATION
Presented by Sara Tillman
The Dash
Sara reads “The Dash” by Linda Ellis, which talks about the dash between the years on a tombstone being the most important thing as it is the time that we live our lives and those closest to us know better than anyone how we lived it. It also challenges to live better lives as we look at the dash that Jesus lived. How are we living our dash?

Music by Ben Glover, David Crowder, and Matt Maher
VERSE
Come out of sadness
From wherever you’ve been
Come broken hearted
Let rescue begin
Come find your mercy
Oh sinner come kneel
Earth has no sorrow
That heaven can’t heal
Earth has no sorrow
That heaven can’t heal
CHORUS
So lay down your burdens
Lay down your shame
All who are broken
Lift up your face
Oh wanderer come home
You’re not too far
So lay down your hurt
Lay down your heart
Come as you are
VERSE 2
There’s hope for the hopeless
And all those who’ve strayed
Come sit at the table
Come taste the grace
There’s rest for the weary
Rest that endures
Earth has no sorrow
That heaven can’t cure
CHORUS
So lay down your burdens
Lay down your shame
All who are broken
Lift up your face
Oh wanderer come home
You’re not too far
Lay down your hurt lay down your heart
Come as you are
Come as you are
Fall in his arms
Come as you are
VERSE 3
There’s joy for the morning
Oh sinner be still
Earth has no sorrow
That heaven can’t heal
Earth has no sorrow
That heaven can’t heal
PRAYER
Closing Prayer
Father as we begin a new year, please grant us clarity on the things that matter most to you. Fix our focus on the things that are good. Fix our focus on justice, mercy and fill us with humility that will give us a desire to be obedient to you. Forgive us Father, fill us and use us as your servants. In Jesus Name, Amen.
