God wants us to focus on what He’s looking for… Justice, Mercy, Humility. But what is Mercy as defined by God? Why do we end up focusing in on things other than mercy? This week we go back into Micah and go through the scriptures to find this out so that we can fix our focus on HIS mercy.

 

 

Bret Busse talks about true character and accountability which comes from knowing and loving God. This is the fear of God, which is respecting Him, His Holiness and Divinity. This begins by accepting Jesus, His teachings and His Sacrifice. He is our ultimate example of True Character.

Father, it’s incredibly clear, crystal clear, that our nation has lost it’s focus. And now when it’s darkest, is when we, your people need to shine our brightest. When everyone around us is consumed by anger and hate, may the mercy that we’ve received and learned from you shine in bright contrast and draw others to You. Giving them light, giving them guidance, and showing them the way.
