We are excited to bring a new series discussing how “God Promises to Make Us Unshakeable” no matter what happens in life. Did you know that God made over 3,000 promises in the Bible? While we won’t be able to get to every single promise that He made, but we will focus on the promises that tell us that our feet have a place to stand on the rock! How God promised that He will strengthen us, He will help us, and He will hold on to us to keep us from falling or failing. Even Jesus told us, “I will never leave you or forsake you.”

 

 

Bryan Butler tells us how developing consistency can make life’s circumstances easier to manage. In our crazy, uncertain times, with all the madness going on in our world, nasty politics, Covid, fear, job loss, insecurity, and the like, how do we keep our focus?

Bryan has 7 bullet points that all start with the letter R:

– Remembering (Who God is and who we are in relation to Him)

– Relationships (Knowing they are valuable and living in harmony)

– Rejoice (In all circumstances)

– Remaining Humble

– Reflecting and Praying

– Rearranging our thinking (to line up with God’s)

– Receiving God’s Grace

Father, it really rattles us when it seems that everything in life seems to fall apart. We crave the stability that you bring into our life. Thank you for being faithful and true to Your promise. Thank You for having a degree of integrity beyond our imagination. Thank You for not abandoning us to figure out life on our own. We long for You and we desperately long to draw near to You. Make our lives unshakeable for our own good and for Your own glory throughout eternity. In Jesus Name, Amen
