“Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)”
Music by Matt Crocker, Joel Houston, and Salomon Ligthelm
VERSE
You call me out upon the waters.
The great unknown where feet may fail
And there I find You in the mystery.
In oceans deep, my faith will stand
CHORUS
And I will call upon Your name,
And keep my eyes above the waves
When oceans rise,
my soul will rest in your embrace,
for I am Yours and You are mine
VERSE 2
Your grace abounds in deepest waters.
Your sovereign hand will be my guide
Where feet may fail and fear surrounds me.
You’ve never failed and you won’t start now
BRIDGE
Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders
Let me walk upon the waters, wherever You would call me
Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander
And my faith will be made stronger in the presence of my Savior.
MESSAGE
When You Decide to Follow Jesus… Brace Yourself!
In this week’s message, Ed explains that we are not merely called to believe in the crucifixion, but we are also to be crucified with Christ. What does that mean? What did Jesus mean when he explained to Peter that the gates of hell won’t prevail against the church?
COMMUNION MEDITATION
Presented by Chris Orecchio
We All Have a Story
Chris reminds us that we all have a story that reminds us of who we are. Not only as a family that has grown up and lived together but as a Christian walking this walk that was established by our Savior, Jesus.

PRAYER
Father, we know we need to swallow our pride and humble ourselves and turn back to you. We yield to your presence. We yield to the to the conscience. It’s been killing us. And defer to your will. We turn ourselves over to you and commit ourselves to obedience to you and your will. Help us father to bring honor to you regardless of what happens in our life. In Jesus’ name, we pray, amen.

How to act during a storm
It can be a challenge to act like Jesus in the midst of the storm. Alyx shows how the disciples reacted in the storm and how Jesus reacted. This week’s questions… 1. Look at how the disciples handled the storm and how Jesus did, what was different? 2. In verse 40 Jesus asks his disciples “why are you afraid?” why do you think Jesus asked this? 3. What can we take away from this story we read today? (Trust Jesus!) #MCCFamilyDevo
