Y2k, Anthrax, West Nile, Bird Flu, Financial Crisis, Mayan Calendar, and now Covid. We have had fearful thoughts driven into us for the past 20 years and longer. This Sunday, we continue our series, “God Wants to Make Us Unshakeable” with the message “God’s Word Gives Us Unshakeable Direction.” Psalms 119:105 tells us that His word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. What does that mean? How does God’s word move us through an unshakeable path?

 

 

Cindy reviews the Women’s retreat weekend on being “Women of Strength.” In this, she talks about being a woman with “Open Hands and an Open Heart.” In this, we love as Jesus did by serving others.

Father calm our fear. Teach us to trust You. Make us unshakeable in a world gone mad. Give us a clear direction in the chaos and the confusion. That we might learn more about Jesus, so that we can love more like Jesus, and ultimately look more like Jesus in how we live.
