 COMMUNION MEDITATION

Presented by our Elder Kirk Chaffin

The power of intercessory prayer.
Jesus was our ultimate example of an intercessor.
We should follow this example as we are lead by the Holy Spirit.

MESSAGE

As Christians, our perspective is different

When life changes for followers of Christ, we don’t react the same In times of crisis and panic lots of decisions have to be made on the fly Our filter for decision-making same as the rest of the world

John 18:36 – “My kingdom is not of this world.”

The grander earth has quaked before
Moved by the sound of His voice
Seas that are shaken and stirred
Can be calmed and broken for my regard

Through it all, through it all, my eyes are on You
Through it all, through it all, It is well
Through it all, through it all, my eyes are on You
It is well with me

Far be it for me to not believe
Even when my eyes can’t see
And this mountain that’s in front of me
Will be thrown into the midst of sea

BRIDGE
So let go, my soul, and trust, in Him,
The waves and wind, still know, His name.
So let go, my soul, and trust, in Him,

The waves and wind, still know, His name,
The waves and wind, still know, His name.

It is well, with my soul
It is well, with my soul
It is well, with my soul
It is well, it is well, with my soul

PRAYER

Father, we’re grateful for the opportunity to pause again. Wherever we are and whatever circumstances we find ourselves in. To remember to give you praise honor and the glory that you deserve. Father, we don’t know how this is going to all work out, but what we do know is that we can trust you to provide every need that we have. Give us that sense of peace of heart. Give us that sense of peace that guards our minds and our thoughts. Allow us then to live a life that truly reflects honoring you and serving others. Thank you, Father, for the opportunities that you will present to us. Whatever they might be and use us in a way that makes you look amazing to the world. Accept our praise for we bow in all before you and we find our peace in you as well. In the name of Jesus, we pray, Amen.
