God Wants to Make Us Unshakeable –
When We Surrender to Jesus as Lord
This weekend we continue our “God Promises To Make Us Unshakable” with the message “When We Surrender to Jesus as Our Lord”. It’s one thing to call Jesus Savior, but what does it mean to call Him Lord? How does that make us Unshakable?

Jesus, The Lamb of God
Israel was looking for a Savior that would lead them to victory instead of one that would lead them to forgiveness. But that is what Jesus did. John the Baptist said of Jesus, Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. John called Him this to remind them of the Passover Lamb spoken of in Exodus. So that they could see why Jesus was truly there.

Father give us rest. Quiet our hearts, quiet our minds. As we wrestle with the control and the right to say how we live our life, may we remember our commitment to follow you. May we show others how believing in You will take a commitment that goes beyond convenience and will result in us being unshakeable in our faith.
