In part 5 of this Series “Politics Through the Eyes of God” we dive deeper into Joshua to see how it applies to our life during these wild election times. If things weren’t confusing enough leading up to the elections now it seems to have gone from bad to worse. No matter who you voted for, there is one thing for sure. It certainly didn’t come out quite the way we expected it. What are we to do with what seems to be a complete and total mess? The more important thing is to note what is God trying to do with us during these moments. What does God want from us during these moments?

Father help us to overcome our anger and slam the door in the face of our demons. Help us to overcome our anxiety to find your peace. Help us overcome the failure of our pride and get off our face and trust You as we move forward. May your providential intervention, your providential provision, and your providential protection give us the courage we need to believe in you. The humility we need to obey you.
