2020 has left us emotionally drained with conversations of one COVID war story after another. Our lives have been turned upside down. Our normal realm of operating is nothing like it was last year at this time. If that wasn’t enough, we had to deal with a crazy spectacle of an election that makes very little senses to us. It leaves us this Thanksgiving with the thoughts “Give Thanks?? Thanks for nothing!” Regardless of our emotional drain we are still called to “Give Thanks” but why??

 

 

 

Susie reassures us that God is in control through sharing a time in her life where God orchestrated events perfectly so that she could be there for everyone.

Prayer

 

Father, we don’t know how you do it. We just know that we need it. Give us tranquility of heart, of mind, of spirit. A sense of okay-ness, not just because we believe in fate or whatever comes is what we get. But because of our trust that You are in control. Not just in the events around us but in our ability to respond in ways that reflect a belief in you. Help us, Father. Forgive us of our weakness. Make us stronger that we might bring honor and glory to You. In Jesus Name we pray, Amen
